Fire & Desire Matchmaking was created to help Black individuals prepare for the love they desire, find that love, and stay in love.
The art of matchmaking is almost as old as time and includes setting two individuals up on a date based on their likes/dislikes and desires. It is different from online dating. At Fire & Desire, this process looks like this:

First, the individual fills out the intake form

Next, we set up time to meet in person or virtually

Then, the client completes the questionnaire about themselves

Meet Azia
I am Azia (pronounced Asia) and I LOVE love, especially Black love. A goal of mine is to see the Black marriage rate increase and the Black divorce rate decrease in my lifetime. I understand that everyone doesn't desire marriage but everyone desires a loving relationship. Studies have shown that healthy, loving relationships can lead to healthier and more fulfilling lives. Who doesn't want that?
I started Fire & Desire Matchmaking to not only help people find love through matchmaking, but to make sure they are prepared for love through coaching and give them the tools and resources needed to keep that love alive and well.
In addition to training at Matchmaking Institute and becoming a certified matchmaker, I have also received training at Transformation Academy to become a life coach and am currently a student in Dallas, Texas working on my Masters in Counseling with a concentration in Family & Marriage Therapy.
